Saturday morning - all piled in. We just recently started leaving Sophie's door open so she could come out to use the bathroom when she woke. So this is really the first time ever that BOTH kids came to wake us up. We snuggled for a bit before hauling ourselves up to get ready for our day at the beach. It was nice. :)
Craig's and my current fave. It's our "the-kids-are-in-bed-and-now-we-can-put-our-feet-up treat".
Rainy Sunday morning. TV off. Books and activity books chosen instead.

I was turned on to a new easy sandwich by my friend Jennifer and I've died and gone to heaven! Roasted eggplant with sliced tomato, whole basil leaves, feta cheese and garlic mayo. This was my packed lunch for work one day.
It's a bread week for our regular CSA pick up so I brought home the motherload. LOVE summer!
Found the steaks I was planning to grill still rock solid in the freezer. Quick plan B: pesto veggie pizza with the homemade pesto I'd made and frozen recently. (Pesto thaws much quicker than meat.) Aaaand a green bean salad with the beans I just brought home.
Okay, NOW we're having steak (new night) and kids are shucking corn for dinner. This is Sophie's evening uniform while we FINALLY get this darn potty-training thing under control! ;)
It's Breastfeeding Awareness Month! Did ya'll celebrate?
Took several days off work in lieu of an actual vacation. This was Friday and the kids went to my mom's as planned while Craig and I slept in, lazed around, went to lunch at Swig and saw The Bourne Legacy. New rule: we need to do this more often!! Time alone with my handsome hubs is equally as important as fun time planned with the kids! It was a great day. Love you, babe!
OH MY GOODNESS!!! Best burger I've ever had. I got the special at Swig: peaches 'n brie burger with sweet potato fries. Double YUM! Had to eat it with a fork and knife.
Had plans of going to the hot air balloon show in Findlay this night, but the weather decided otherwise. Instead, we spent the evening on a triple family playdate with the Garman fam at the Rethman's. Thanks for hosting, Case! Fun times. :)
