Family Fun Day

We made the best of a rainy, overcast, cool day with a trip to the Main branch of the Toledo Public Library downtown and then followed that up with a visit to the Imagination Station.  Will had never been to the downtown library and I knew he would love it.  Will has also been begging for a trip to Imagination Station for MONTHS.  So today we finally said "YES!"
I didn't take a ton of pictures at either place but it was a super fun morning.

The highlight of our trip:  this game!  Sorta' like that gopher game where you have to pound their heads with a soft mallet each time they pop up.   Two players stand on either side of this long narrow table and have to slap the circles as they light up while racing the clock and your opponent.  Great exercise!!
Soph and Will had to tag team against Craig.

I can't even look at these pictures without feeling nauseous.  I do not have any sort of fears or phobias (heights, small spaces, motion) but this slanted room throws off my equilibrium and I feel dizzy and nauseous without even walking in.  It's terrible!  So Craig took them and I snapped a couple pictures and ran out.  ;)

My turn to try something while Craig and the kids watch!  Build momentum by pulling down on the rope and allowing it to lift you into the air.
Weee!  :)

Since we have a zoo membership and don't have to worry about paying each time we're admitted there, the cost of Imagination Station seems outrageous!  I got the kids in free with my Promedica badge and I was still surprised at the price!  I guess I'm just used to having most of our activities be free.  ;)
