Final Swim & School Playground

Will & his buddy Aidan got to squeeze in a final swim in Nana & Papa's pool on a freakishly warm day this week.  Then temperatures dropped tremendously the very next day.
Will's got a lot of growing to do to catch up with some of his friends!
Will's new playground love are the monkey bars.  He is obsessed with them and he's really good!  We took the kids to the elementary school playground this weekend for some fun and exercise and so Will could show off his progressing skills.  :)

So much fun stuff to do here!  We are so lucky to have this awesome new school and playground equipment for our kids to enjoy.

Brianne's Wedding: Pampering & Rehearsing

Today was all about pampering & rehearsing for the ladies in Brianne's bridal party.  We carpooled and caravanned to the nail salon this morning for pretty toes and fingers.

Then we drove back to my aunt & uncle's house (where the ceremony was going to take place) and surveyed the damage from last night's awful storm.  There is some standing water in places and some slightly wind-blown things here and there, but my aunt and uncle have a gorgeous farm and have done so much in preparation for this wedding.  The place still looks amazing.  There was some flooding in their basement when the electricity was lost though, unfortunately, and Brianne's favors (these adorable little seedling trees for their guests to take home and plant) with their burlap wrapper and handmade tags with a message from the bride and groom, were left floating until discovered.  So we moved them all out to the porch to air out a bit and made the sad decision to destroy several hours work and pull all the tags off of the seedlings.  Instead, Brianne opted to make a single sign with the message on it and place it at the table where the seedlings would be set out.
Early that evening, we returned to the farm for rehearsal in the big barn and ooh'd and ahh'd over all the awesome details in décor that Brianne and her family have created for this amazing event.  Seriously, SO MUCH DETAIL.  It's incredible.  And sweet.

Our beautiful bride-to-be.
Bridesmaids!
How gorgeous does this place look?!
Craig and the kids came to watch and join us after for the dinner.
Aunt Shirley (my beautiful Godmother) and my cousin Bryan.

Reese is the flower girl!!  And she is ready for this job.  :)
Here comes the bride!
My favorite pic of the day.  His baby girl.  Love their expressions.
Soph, of course, wanted to be up front in the action nearly the whole time.
She entertained us with her twirling.  :)
My mom's cousin, Steve, the same pastor who married Craig and me (and Britt & Troy, too!), is going to perform the ceremony.  He's awesome.

Mom is Brianne's Godmother so she will be giving a reading tomorrow.
Sophie, chumming it up with some of Brianne's soon-to-be nieces.  (Oh, and an explanation on that bright red cast on her arm will be coming shortly.)

Dinner and congregating followed at Graytown Park.  The kids were thrilled with the playground!
Craig & Wes
Check this out!  My little monkey of a Goddaughter has completely MASTERED the monkey bars.  She is amazing!  So quick and fearless!  I was shocked and so impressed.

I desperately need a haircut.  I look so blah.  But look how nicely my hubs coordinated with me!  :)
Brianne & Matt very sweetly gave gifts to Will, Sophie, Mya & Stella for passing out the bell wands tomorrow after the ceremony.  So thoughtful of her.  It really made them feel special.
So tomorrow's the big day!!
