Easter Sunday

Once again, the Easter Bunny was good to us this year.  The kids each got new jammies. Soph got a yoga DVD, some headbands from Etsy, a new pair of sunglasses, some stickers and some candy.  Will received some science/animal books, some stickers, a new set of dino magnets for the lid of his Planet Box tray, his first wallet to stow his library card and allowance money and some candy.
The kids hunted for their baskets and some (empty) eggs on Easter morning and had a great time.

(A mouth full of candy in this pic.)
They're both looking a little sleepy this morning.  But hey!  No one told them to get up that early!  I vote next year we sleep in even later.  :)

Dressed for our day of celebrating!

The weather was a bit on-and-off sprinkly this morning, but you never have to twist their arms to bring along umbrellas!
Our family.  Easter at Grandma & Grandpa Konesky's house.

Sophie's handy work...
Easter at the Riedeman's.  Our swinging ritual, of course.

Sophie looks slightly crazy here, but let me explain.  She will NEVER look at the camera when you ask her to.  So she was smiling for me, but looking at Celia.  Every single time.  We're always having to repeat "Over here, Sophie!  Look here!"
And still...

Ready for our egg hunt!  There are lots of these same couple of minutes, but the changing expressions are so cute!

Ready...
Set...
Go!!!

Love these.
[Smile]
This was actually an activity that Kelly had planned for Celia's birthday party, but never got to it.  The kids strung candy bracelets with Twizlers Pull-n-Peel ropes and Life Savers, yogurt pretzels, marshmallows and Fruit Loops.

Yum!  Thank you, Aunt Kelly!
Happy Easter, everyone!!
