On Saturday, August 18th, Will and I drove to the Seagate Convention Center for the Discover the Dinosaurs exhibit. I'd wanted to have a special "date" with my boy before school starts and this was such a nice afternoon/early evening for the two of us. The exhibit felt a little bit like the traveling "carnie" that it was to me, but Will loved the whole thing and told me repeatedly how much fun he had. In many of the pictures, you can see him pressing a button near each exhibit that allowed him to control the movement of the dinos. He thought that was so cool. Also, he wasn't the only kid wearing that t-shirt (from Children's Place).
After the exhibit, I asked him what else he'd like to do since daddy and Sophie were at a party and we had the evening to ourselves. He decided on a trip to the playground and then a floor picnic for dinner and a movie... which MUST include popcorn. It was perfect. :)
