That's The Thing About August...

It kinda' sneaks up on you and then, BAM! The year is over in the blink of an eye.

Once the calendar gets to August:

the school year begins...

football season starts...

fall activities overtake the weekends...

and then the holidays begin...

Halloween...

Thanksgiving...

Christmas...

New Year...

We're going to be ringing in 2011 before you know it!

It's not like the time ever seems to slow down, but doesn't it feel like August through New Years goes by at top speed?

Thankfully, August also means that fall is almost here and that never fails to bring a smile to my face. Fall is the best time of year.

Hmm... guess this also calls for a new "Fall To-do List" to be made. I'll get right on that.

Oh, and P.S. - I have about 5 or 6 other posts currently being written up in my head. I just haven't had the time this weekend... or the urge to choose blogging over a quiet Sunday evening with my man. I'll get to them...
