Water Color Crayons

In Will's Christmas stocking, Santa left a cool new art tool that we just got around to using: water color crayons!
{Apparently, Santa hunted high and low for these and finally found them on Amazon. Shh!}

You can use these a couple of ways. Either dip them in a small amount of water and color with the dampened crayons. Or color like normal and then use a damp sponge to blend the image for a cool, water color effect. We did the latter.
We've also had a tablet of special water color paper (purchased at Hobby Lobby) for quite awhile and have used it a few times for other water painting projects. So we used a sheet of that for trying out these crayons too.

The color blending is very neat I think. I'd like to try this for making rainbow pictures next week.
