My mom brought over a few things from her school for Will to play with the evening of my wisdom teeth removal. It was very helpful for him to have a few new novelties to keep him entertained. One of the items was a box of Dino Matching Cards. You know how addicted to dinosaurs Will is right now, right? These are three-part pictures of a bunch of different dinosaurs that are broken down by head, tail and torso. Will has assembled the matches at least ten times since Friday. He has a system in the way he sorts the heads, tails and torsos into groups and then decides which go together. The name of each dinosaur is also at the tops of the matching cards and broken into three parts as well, i.e. brach-io-saurus or di-plo-docus. So that helps him practice reading while he figures them out too. And there are controls to looks at if he needs help. What a great game! We may borrow these awhile longer...
Craig got in on this round while I made dinner recently.
