A Giraffe and a Half by Shel Silverstein

It was a pretty good reading week. There weren't any books we didn't like.
Karma Wilson's Give Thanks to the Lord was really more a fall-ish, Thanksgiving book but it was cute. And I am really intrigued with this author named Max Lucado. His books are all of a religious origin and they seem fantastic. I loved this God's Great Big Love for Me book. It was a great teaching message for kids and perhaps a good baptism or first communion gift. I also want to read his Because I Love You title for kids. Our library doesn't carry it, but I've heard it's wonderful so I may just buy it for the kids as a gift.
This is a super cute book for the train-loving child.
Anne Rockwell is a wonderful author with lots of educational books about specific holidays. I borrowed this one to explain to Will about our upcoming holiday since I know they're talking about it in school too. I'd highly recommend looking up more books by this author.
Aww. What a cute, little story. Precious little Tinka is so tiny and unappreciated but she gets the attention and admiration of the other, bigger sheep after a fun adventure that she gets to take. Oh, and check out the author's name. Is that really a name?
We own Fidgety Fish and love it, so we borrowed three more books by the same author. They are all pretty cute.
Here's one that I forgot to include in the stack picture above. This was Sophie's favorite and I forgot that it was sitting on her night stand when I took that picture. We read it every single day and she loved it. I'm definitely going to get this book for her for Easter or her birthday. She even learned some new words like "kangaroo" and "baby joey". :)
I absolutely LOVE snuggling up with one or both of my kids and a book. These are some of my favorite moments with them and I will cherish them forever.
Sophie was in her sleep sack and ready for bed and I was clearly in jambos too with no make up and sloppy hair. Just keepin' it real. :)
Love.
I know these are all basically the same, but I love them. And I love Will's smile.

Till next week...
