What We're Reading

We kept this bunch for an additional week due to our visit to the bounce house last Saturday morning...
Top to bottom:
Ten on the Sled by Kim Norman
When Cows Come Home by David L. Harrison
At the Edge of the Woods: A Counting Book by Cynthia Cotten
I Heard Said the Bird by Polly Berrien Berends
The 3 Little Dassies by Jan Brett
The Dark, Dark Night by M. Christina Butler
One Morning in Maine by Robert McCloskey
Sheila Rae, the Brave by Kevin Henkes
Diary of a Worm by Doreen Cronin
Whistle for Willie by Ezra Jack Keats
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs by Judi Barrett
One, Two, Buckle My Shoe by Jane Cabrera
Good Night, Good Knight by Shelley Moore Thomas
Little Polar Bear and the Husky Pup by Hans de Beer
Ten in the Den by John Butler
When the Fly Flew In by Lisa Westberg Peters
My favorite this week was the Robert McCloskey book (One Morning in Maine). I'd like to own all his books. They're just wonderful. I also liked Diary of a Worm. Don't know what it is about the alleged journaling of random animals that is so comical to me, but I also love Diary of a Wombat and Memoirs of a Goldfish if you recall. :) Haha.
Will didn't have a carry-around-all-the-time-cause-I-can't-bear-to-put-it-down book this week but he really liked the Jan Brett (3 Little Dassies) and the very rhymey I Heard Said the Bird.
