Check it out! The drapes are done!
And I absolutely love them.
This was such an inexpensive project too, thanks to Craig's crazy-good shopping skills and my mother-in-law's crazy-good sewing skills! The rod was around $30 (from Menards) and Craig spray painted it matte black. The drapes were also from Menards for about $13 a set. We had to buy two sets of drapes because they didn't come in the length we needed. Then all we bought for the living room were rods ($11 each) and rings ($??).
And now it looks like the added length was just a purposeful hem! And we're going to use the rest of the drapes (the top part) for little window curtains in the basement. (We have windows at the tops of the walls downstairs.) Cool!
LOVE THEM! And it's exactly the color pop this room needed.
