Girls Night

Girls Night actually started out with a 3 year old boy who wanted to help bake the cookies we were planning to devour during our chick flick.
Casey and Will stole some of the dark chocolate chips out of the batter. But don't worry - we used way more than we needed so the cookies were excessively chocolatey.
Here was our set up...
The kids were in bed. The husbands weren't present. Just me, my sister, some white bean dip, a plate of veggies and baked pita chips, a plate of our oatmeal and dark chocolate chip cookies, and an on-demand movie ("The Greatest" with Pierce Brosnan & Susan Sarandon). Yum.
Giada's white bean dip with pita chips - one of my very favorite things to eat.
These cookies were delicious, but the batter (and, in turn, the cookie) was super crumbly and difficult to scoop onto the baking sheet. There was almond extract in them (in addition to vanilla) and it was wonderfully noticeable.
So we talked and watched a movie (actually she fell asleep while I balled my eyes out) and talked some more... till 2 in the morning! It was nice to have you, Case. I've missed you!
Let's do this again!

You two are the cutest!! My sis and I annoyed the crap out of each other growing up, but that is such a special relationship to me now. There's nothin' like having a sister to lean on. :)
