God Bless Lincoln!

Sophie and I attended the baptism of Lincoln James (A.K.A. Cora's little brother) on Saturday afternoon in a private ceremony at O.L.L. church in Genoa. I love private baptism ceremonies. They're so much more comfortable and intimate. The priest invites family to come up and take pictures as much as they like and the children are more forgiven for noise and movement. ;)

Sophie busied herself with stickers and construction paper for the majority of the brief ceremony.
Big sister Cora floated around like a little social butterfly saying hello to all the guests and even introducing people that already knew each other. :) Mr. Lincoln was the sleepiest baby I've ever seen at a baptism. His eyes were so heavy and he slept nearly the whole time. Nice. ;)
At one point, Cora came over and casually asked Sophie and I if we'd like to come up front with her. Haha! I politely thanked her but said it was a special time for just her little family.

Isn't she just adorable? She looks so much like her mommy.

Lincoln is still so sleepy! And he looks so much like his daddy.
Awww. God Bless you, sweet boy!
