New Headboard!

Check out what my mother-in-law made for us!

Not sure if you remember from my house tour post, but we never had an actual headboard for our bed. We were using a bedroom set that didn't accommodate a king-sized mattress and didn't want to purchase a bed frame without purchasing an entirely new bedroom set. So we just had the metal frame that holds the mattresses and some big Euro pillows to disguise the absence. :)

So my mother-in-law used her handy crafting skills to cover a custom-cut board with padding and microfiber suede fabric that Craig and I bought years ago with this in mind. So the whole thing was relatively cheap and now we can wait till we're ready to invest in an entire set to purchase a wood bed frame.

Craig and his parents surprised me by having this set up when I came home from work tonight. I didn't even know she was working on it.
