Miscellaneous

Just a bunch of randoms.

A couple of Will-snapshots (as in, taken by Will) to start us off...

Shortly before we left for Traverse City, Craig was inspecting a rattling sound in the wheel well (?) of his Jeep and I had just returned from Will's preschool orientation.

It was just a stone making the noise - no biggie.
This was the day I stayed home with the kids after our weekend away. We ate our breakfast in the morning and Sophie carried her baby around in the sling while I cleaned up the kitchen.

Then we went to the playground for a little while before returning home to do some gardening.

Both our kids adore riding their bikes. They are constantly in the driveway just riding around... or sometimes into each other. ;)

Last week, Will had his friend Jagger over to play after work/school one day. Jagger and Will have each been going to the same babysitter for their whole lives and Jagger is about 20 months older than Will... and MUCH taller. (He's bending down here, obviously.) Jagger also has a sister, Charlize, who is 4 months younger than Will and a brother, Jax, who is a couple months older than Sophie. Jagger just started kindergarten this year and I am loving all the advice his mom is sharing with me about the whole experience/transition.

{Nice face, Will.}
Will and Jagger were so cute together. For as long as they've known each other, Jagger has never been over to play before and he was just so polite and complimentary of everything. The two of them have pretty advanced vocabularies and talk A LOT, so it was so funny to hear them conversing nonstop.

This was Friday, just before we left for the Genoa-Oak Harbor game. Riding bikes again...

And then on Monday, we all felt a little sleepy and out of our element with the sudden drop of temperature and gloomy weather. But we still made it over to Craig's parent's house for a picnic with the extended Riedeman family.

Hope you all enjoyed a nice, longer weekend with your families!

I like the comment about how they were talking NONSTOP. That's our kids. No wonder Jagger got a warning in class. The kid can talk. He had a blast. Thanks for having him over!!

I love Will's photography!
Also, my mom has Jagger in her class! She has told me since before he was even in her class that the kids in that family are so cute and that she absolutely loves all of their names!
I need to have some more play dates like that for Lyla.. my girl was an only child for too long and needs to learn to share!
