The Buckeyes played their first game against Akron to open the 2011 season and won 42-0. Will, Sophie and Craig wore their Ohio State attire. I was going to lunch with a friend at kick-off and was not sporting the scarlet and gray for the occasion. Maybe next week...
Anyway, Craig wanted to get some pics of the kids now that he's into making picture calendars for the grandparents as Christmas gifts. Will was not super interested in cooperating, so we're going to try this again later too.
Sophie's wearing Will's hand-me-down jersey along with some super cute (brand new!) Puma's from her buddy Charli. I'm lovin' her tomboy look. ;) And Will's got on his new jersey from Nana and Papa and the buckeye necklace that Craig made from our buckeye tree out front. This one is the best of the two of them:

Random: Has anyone seen those window clings (for the car) of the 4 people's silouettes doing the O-H-I-O hand motions? The first time I saw it, I thought it was so cool! And now I'm seeing them pretty frequently. I'm not a bumper sticker or window cling kind of person (and probably won't ever be) but I really like that one. ;)

What's not to love about this here post?!?! I also forgot to mention that I loved Will's comment about liking the state of Michigan--not the team, LOL!
And Kris made a buckeye necklace too, I believe from buckeyes gathered at MacQueen's last year. Brody was supposed to bring something special to share about his family to preschool, and he brought that since we all are Buckeyes fans, but when the teacher asked him why that was special to our family he said, "Because Daddy made it." Kris was helper that day and said, "NO! It's because we all like the Buckeyes!" So cute.
