Super (bowl) Food!... Oh, and I guess there was a football game too :)

We kicked off the morning with a football waffle and some piped-on strawberry cream cheese.
Then my little chef-in-training helped me assemble a veggie pizza for snacking during the game.
Oops! The yellow peppers were too hard to resist.
Teaching my son the proper way to clean a mushroom with a damp cloth and gentle wiping. Rinsing under the faucet leads to tough mushrooms.
Our finished product - a football field with opposing vegetable "teams"!
All this "cooking" makes Will hungry. He requests a snack while I finish cleaning up. First a banana...

And then baby tomatoes... he picks the most random combinations!
Great Grandma Wasserman's sugar cookie recipe with football cutouts. I don't have a variety of decorator attachments for the frosting, so we have some fat stripes... and LOTS of frosting on each cookie... which is not really a bad thing. I love cookies.
I also made Craig a buffalo chicken wing dip for the game. It's like a heart attack in a pan - horribly unhealthy, but a yummy, rare treat.
Congrats to the Saints, though we were cheering for the Colts...
