We got some more snow Friday night! Though it was mostly just lots of gusting winds and huge, scattered drifts. Saturday was still VERY windy, so we opted to stay indoors. But today was just perfect! Supposedly it was 25 degrees today, though in the sunshine (and totally calm air) it felt much warmer. Now that I have a child who is anxious to get out and play in the snow, I've paid much closer attention to our winter weather and I have to say: it kinda' stinks! It's February already and this is really only the third decent snowfall we've gotten, and it's melted shortly after every time.Anyway, enough whining from me (I'm starting to sound like Will!) After nap this afternoon, we loaded up and headed back over to Grandma & Papa Riedeman's house for another round of sledding on the hill behind their pond. We received a hand-me-down snowsuit from Craig's cousin and, though it says 6-12 months, it is absolutely HUGE! I bundled Sophie up and she felt like a plush rod - LOL. She could hardly move.

Sophie liked the little sleigh from Santa. It was just her size. Her arms probably only come down about halfway of what you see on that snowsuit, so I couldn't really tuck her arms in the sled. Instead, she rode around with empty mittens dragging in the snow. It was so funny!
Daddy and Will making their way up the hill.
The sled Sophie sat in made a perfect, little seat for her to watch all the activity. Will gets a little shove to get going:
Weeeee!!

And back up again...
And down...
Up... (Note: you can see in the distance behind me a little clearing in the triangle of trees where Craig and I will build our house in a few years!)
Sophie just sat quietly and watched. I love this picture - she was making this face with her tongue out all day today.
And down...
Will did a face-plant while trying to stand up. Daddy dusted him off and he was good to go again.
Sophie's one and only (and might I add, SLOW!) run down the hill.
