Make Your Own Lunch

I found a kid-friendly salad "recipe" that I wanted to try with Will. It was very easy and fun for him to participate. I even had one too and the dressing is very yummy!

First, I spooned in the mayo (I used light). Next, Will poured in the buttermilk.
Then I put in a drizzle of cider vinegar and Will finished it off with some chopped chives.

Whisk, whisk, whisk! Despite the face, Will really did enjoy this. I think he was concentrating on not spilling over the sides. :)

The salad fixings. This is my spawn off of the furiously popular "muffin tin meals"... except we just took food out of the tin. Haha. (Muffin tin meals are SO CUTE! I love compartments - they look so pretty and organized. I just don't very often think of doing them!)
