Powered Through!

I made it!  I survived!  And I have to say I'm terrified of next school year when I have lunches to pack Monday through Friday for both Will and I... and possibly one or two days for Sophie depending on the driving schedule.  (Next year is going to be challenging with Mya, Stella, Sophie and two more kids from our babysitter all going to preschool!  The driving arrangements are still a worry for us.)  So I'm going to need the summer to gather some new ideas for lunch packing - I'm the queen of lists, you know - and possibly a second Planetbox tray for Will (and one for Sophie too?) to avoid having to clean one out before packing again.  Not sure about wanting that expense, but it might be worth it in convenience.  Still saying this is one of the best investments ever!  I love our Planetbox and I highly recommend it for ease in packing and ease in time-efficient eating.  Packing lunch for Sophie will open up a few more options for easy protein/main dish ideas because she will eat cottage cheese and plain yogurt, no problem.  And she eats cheese way better than Will too.  I was always limited when using dairy for protein in Will's lunches, so I'd always try to cram it into his breakfasts with milk to drink and yogurt in smoothies/pancakes or cottage cheese in pancakes, etc.

So here's a look at the school year wrap up in lunch packing.  I have no idea what the dates were and I'm sure you don't care.  ;)
