Riedeman Easter Brunch

Easter Mass went really well, actually! We're not a regular church-going family, sadly, and I wasn't sure how peaceful of a service it would be for us. But both kids were very well behaved and quiet.

Following church, we made our way over to Craig's parents house for brunch. We attempted some outdoor family pictures, but it was windy, very bright and my kids rarely smile nicely on request. So none are very good. :(

Squinty eyes.
I do like these pictures of Will & Craig in their coordinating button-up shirts.

My pretty, little Sophie.

The Munoz Fam

Soph wanted to share the Dora Dominoes with Veronica. :)

Brunch!

Following brunch, Aunt Kelly "got a text" from the Easter Bunny that he had visited Grandma & Papa's house and there were eggs to be found in the yard. Can you believe that? Even the Easter Bunny is communicates via text nowadays. He must have Verizon. ;-)

Showing Great Grandpa their eggs. Grandpa turns 90 in just a couple weeks!

Swinging seems to be our Easter tradition (among other holidays) when we're lucky enough to have nice weather days at Grandma and Papa Riedeman's house. Grandma recently replaced the wooden swing seats with flexible rubbery ones, which are a little easier for the kids to use safely.

By this time, it was after 3:00 and the kids had effectively missed their chance at nap for the day. We had another family function to attend! But it was a really nice day and worth the sacrifice. I actually caught a few winks on the couch toward the end of our time at Craig's parent's house. I'm really slacking on my New Year's resolution to go to bed earlier. :( And Sophie fell asleep in the car on the way home to change before our next outing...
