Every so often, we get together with two of Craig's best friends from high school and their wives and kids. It is ALWAYS a good time and we ALWAYS wish we did it more often. We are getting better though and less time passes between our get-togethers now. Often we have a potluck meal at one of our houses and the kids have a blast playing together. Everyone gets along so easily and well. And it's just fun!
This was last weekend on Saturday the 14th.
One of the little girls, Addyson, is in dance class now and the oldest girl, Kaitlyn, is in gymnastics. So there were lots of dance and gymnastics moves being displayed along with a "marching band" filled in by the rest of the kids.
Sophie's expression cracks me up in this picture. She was trying to mimic the hands-on-hips dance move that Addyson was showing her. She's also wearing her brand new (never-worn-outside-yet) faux-Crocs this night and didn't want them to leave her feet.
We grilled some meat and had a big salad, raw veggies and a yummy brownie pizza with fresh fruit on top.
Oh my goodness. This little man, Alec, is just one of the cutest kids I have ever seen. His smile and dimples are irresistibly adorable!

And then THIS is how they spent the rest of the evening: completely ganging up on each of the dads individually. Eric randomly volunteered to play on the floor and let all the kids wrestle/tackle/climb/jump on him. And the kids LOVED it! First Eric. Then Tim. And finally Craig. It was so funny to watch.
Those last three of Craig and Alec were so cute. Alec's laughter and smiles were so big.
Can't wait to do this again!
