Will always asks to use the tape measure when we have it out. This little dinky one is from my own mini tool kit from college. He's been carrying it all over the house and measuring everything: the tables, his toys, our feet, the walls, the dishwasher, his sister, etc. 
:) 
He lines it up and says "Look, mommy! This is 27 'measures'!" I've told him over and over that the units of measure are called "inches" but he insists on calling them "measures". :)
