A Few Randoms

I mentioned our steak dinner "out" last Tuesday (in my dinner post)... It was a bit last minute. On my way home from work Craig called to ask if we could shift our dinner plans to Wednesday and go meet his family at Oak Shade Grove for the GBU steak dinner. They have a huge outdoor grill and building/shelter area where everyone congregates for dinner. So in a haste, I rushed home to change and get a few things together for the evening. The weather was nice, the food was good and the kids had fun on the playground too.

Sweet Sophie.

This night was so funny. For some reason, Will insisted upon wearing his sunglasses for most of the evening. (He never used to like his sunglasses until he saw Sophie wearing hers a lot.) Just before bath, he was trying to stand up to pee in his little potty... completely naked... except for sunglasses. What a sight! Craig and I couldn't help but laugh at him. Then he went on to wear them in the tub... (do you like Craig's method for blocking a crotch shot in this picture? LOL)

...and left them on while Craig helped him get dressed. (We've been trying to use up diapers for overnight, but mostly he wears a pull up overnight.) Does this picture remind you of Tom Cruise in Risky Business?

We decided since he's three now, we should put another mark up on his growth chart.

He's 36 3/4" now and it's so fun to see how he's growing.
