Happy 2nd Birthday, Cora!

After our race at the zoo, a trip to the library, and lunch & nap at home, Will, Sophie & I picked up my mom and went to my Goddaughter Cora's 2nd birthday party on Saturday afternoon. Cora is such a lucky (& cute!) little lady! Her grandpa is the owner of the classy Stella's restaurant in Perrysburg and so the food at the Pearson parties is always super yummy. There were lots of kids there, some cool bounce toys to play on, and an awesome Eston's cake for dessert.

Cora's getting ready to blow out her birthday candles. Her mommy did such a nice job throwing this party at 36 weeks pregnant! Look at her cute belly. Molly is due on June 8th and we can't wait to meet baby Lincoln.
"Happy Birthday to you!" (And darn this camera - or, really, this photographer :) - for taking such dark pictures.)
Will and Cora dig into the strawberries 'n cream layer cake.
Put your tongue back in your mouth Will! She's family! Just teasing - Will & Cora just make everybody smile when they interact so sweetly.
Sophie has had a rough couple of days recently with (we think!) new teeth coming in on top. She's had a runny nose, a harder time falling asleep, and hasn't wanted to eat much. But she's been a trooper and she was very good today.

Both of my kids were obsessed with this ride-in, little, bumble bee car. They had to take turns, but Sophie loved banging the antennae together and scooting all over the patio.
Here she's waving to Cora's big dog, Max. :)
This is Max. He's like a small horse. :) And the funny/cute thing is: they have a little Yorkie named Monte too. What a combo! Sophie was very curious about Max though. She was petting him here.
Both kids got nice beach pails filled with party favors and we all had a really nice time. Thanks for inviting us, Cora!
