Spring Photo Op, Part 1

Sophie is now two and has never had professional pictures taken. Sometimes I feel bad about that. Most of the time I just don't even think about it because I take thousands of pictures on my own anyway. One day... I'll get myself organized enough to actually plan on a professional photo session. One day...

In the meantime, I'll just keep taking a lot of non-professional pictures. :)

On Saturday, Sophie and I needed to run out for an errand. So I put her in a cute dress and we swung by Pearson Park for a 20 minute photo op on our way.

She insisted on bringing a handful of plastic eggs with us. :)I would really love to take a photography class on how to work with light. Sophie barely stood still and I always seemed to have the sunlight behind her so the pictures are darker than I would have liked. Aaaand, I cannot wait to upgrade my camera! Hopefully in the next six months to a year.

Fingers crossed... the Mother's Day forecast is currently looking lovely this weekend and I'm hoping to go back to Schedels like we did last year!
