To The Nines

Okay, not quite.
But I just have to share a few more cute kids clothes.
First of all, I have had a crush on this sweet, little sweater dress from Mini Boden for almost a year now. In fact, it's not even available any more because it was from last cold weather season. But I could never bring myself to justify the price.
Lo and behold...
Guess what I found at Target this week!!!

The exact same style as the Boden dress in an equally cute color and design... for $12!
I can so see this with some tights/leggings and a long-sleeved tee or with jeans too.
I have always loved Target.
But in the last year or so, I have been so impressed with their clothing selection. Probably because I have a daughter now. (Their boys stuff is just okay... occasionally some really cute things, but never to the extent of the girls section.)
Anyway, I don't know why I don't go there more often. I've just always appreciated the comfortable, stylish, easily-attainable shopping that is Gap & Old Navy online. They rarely let me down. But occasionally their prices are less than competitive, in which case I wait for the sales along with my endless coupons and discounts.
When really, I should just be going to Target!
On the same shopping trip, I also found this super cute, fine-cord dress and long sleeve tee to go underneath. I got it in 24 mos and was thinking about having her wear it next spring, maybe for Easter? Ha! I've got her Easter dress picked out in September. :)

Both dresses will look great paired with her new See Kai Run "Meg" mary janes too.
Have I ever mentioned SKR before? They're the BEST.
Cutest baby/toddler/kid shoes ever, plus high quality and very flexible for developing feet.
Most all of Sophie's shoes have come from SKR.
When Will was a baby, I preferred Pediped, which is also an extremely nice line of footwear.
For boys, I just thought the Pediped "originals" shoes were the best. And even now, he has one pair of their "flex" line in a basic, brown dress/casual shoe. But he's had LOTS of hand-me-down shoes including several pair of Converse and a couple Sketchers or Adidas. But Craig has mostly been buying him Puma or Nike tennis shoes.
Sophie had a couple pair of every day sandals this summer from Payless, but I just LOVE SKR for her.
These were her summer sandals from SKR - they got LOTS of wear and they still look great!
Here are the size 5 SKR's for the fall/winter.
Plus she has one size 4 pair (the red mary janes) that should last her through the early fall.
The brown mary janes are Gap hand-me-downs from Cora.
Oh, and check out these cute Gap boots Cora passed down to us too! :)
Recently, I've stocked up on some 12-24 month socks for Sophie...
...plus some basic tights. But we also just got a bunch of hand-me-downs from my boss's daughter too, which included more tights and some super functional, solid-colored bodysuits for layering.
This is our 3rd LLBean Unshrinkable Knit toddler dress and I think they are just the best thing ever for cold weather seasons. They are just comfy cotton dresses (unshrinkable!) with cute tights to pair with. They can be for everyday comfort or dress up occasions. Sophie wore hers last Thanksgiving and Easter and I didn't worry at all about her being uncomfortable for parties. So this one is for fall/winter in 18 mo size (their sizes run a little big)...
(check out the cute tights)
And we also got the blue one with apples on it in 2T for early spring and probably into next fall.
They have a summer version of this dress, but I don't like them as well.
Oh, and my co-worker and I went together on an order for these dresses for our daughters, 'cause they were cheaper if you bought at least 3. Plus we got free shipping.
Oh! Can't forget my boy!
He's still super fun to shop for too. But we've just had a nice break in having him growing out of things faster than we can buy the next size up... plus we've enjoyed lots of hand-me-downs for him too.
But I did want to share this cute Timberland shirt I found at TJMaxx for $10.
It's got an attached long-sleeve thermal underneath for sleeves.
Won't that look cute with his brown (or navy) Converse?

Here are a couple cute things my mom picked up for the kids (that could pull off as fall/Halloween-ish too). This is from Children's Place:
And this is from OshKosh (another fave along with Carters). There's a little ruffle detail in the middle of the chest.
What is your favorite place to shop for kids' clothes/shoes?

My local thrift stores. But only on sale days. Because I'm REALLY cheap :) and the kids aren't old enough to know to complain!

gotta love target! AHHHH... target! I'm always eyeing the girl clothes and HOPING... just HOPING I can find boy clothes there, but I hardly buy stuff for my boys from target-sadly.

Love the outfits! I NEED to start going through the boys Fall/winter stuff to see what we need to get!

oh-I love gap and old navy the most. Carters (mostly for jammies!!!), pedipeds, some target shoes, and hand-me-downs! Gotta love my sister for those!
