It rained this afternoon and evening and cooled off even more. After picking the kids up from our sitter's today, they threw on their rain boots, grabbed umbrellas and went out to stomp in the puddles before dinner. Will's asked to do this several times recently but it was either too cold or too windy. We're hoping to have the opportunity for a warm, summer rain shower to go outside and dance in this year like our cousins did last July. :)
It was a good way to stomp out some late afternoon crazy energy that might otherwise have been directed at each other (gah! the bickering lately!) and tucker them out for bedtime.
