I love the swing sets at Craig's parent's house and farm. Craig's Grandpa Riedeman built them and they have really tall and sturdy metal frames for even adults to swing high without concern. We have a smaller version of them at our house and I do swing on ours, but not as high. I also love the wooden seats, though we've changed to rubber (plastic?), flexible seats on a couple of them for the kids safety.
Whenever we visit Grandma & Papa's house for any occasion and the weather is nice, we're almost always out on the swing set at some point. This particular day was Sunday, May 6th and we were there for Great Grandpa King's 90th birthday party. Surprisingly, the party was held indoors - that's rare! - and there were lots of folks we didn't know in attendance. So after eating and visiting a bit, we spent a good portion of the party outside on the swings with the kids.
Blowing Craig a kiss.
Will has become a swinging fanatic! And Craig gets him going unnervingly high, much to the chagrin of his mama and Aunt Kelly. But Will loves it and squeals with excitement.
Here's a better view of the whole swing set.
On this day, there was also some bike riding...
{this was a 16" bike... he's definitely ready for it}
...some bubble blowing and chasing...
...and some teeter tottering.
Baby V is FIVE months old already!!! (Though she was about a week shy at the time of this picture.) I normally think she is a spitting image of her daddy, but I actually see more of Kelly in these pictures.
So cute. Love this one.
And here's a cute comparison photo of Craig's cousin's daughter (Callie Diekman) at about 2.5-3 months old (?) beside Veronica at almost 5 months. :)
