Happy 2nd Birthday, Mya & Stella!

We are at the peak of birthday season!

Get ready for lots of birthday posts!

Mya & Stella turned two on June 2nd!

We stopped over to "hang" out with them for a little while after work on Thursday.

The Rethmans have a great big back yard that's perfect for running around in.

Then, on Saturday, we came back for the girls' birthday party with both sides of the family. Casey and Wes had a very cute "Monkey See, Monkey Do" theme going on, with a hot pink and green color scheme. The twins' big girl bedroom is decorated in pink and green too.

One of the girls' gifts got used even before the gift-opening time: a new table and chairs set from Nana & Papa. It was perfect for Will, Cora and Sophie to sit at for dinner.

Casey is very conscientious of keeping the individuality of both girls. So we sang Happy Birthday to each of them separately, which I thought was very sweet. You're a good twin mommy, Case! Sorry my pic isn't very good of cake time. The girls were swarmed with camera paparazzi and I couldn't get very close. ;) I should have just given my camera to Will. He's always front and center for cake and gift time. :)

Sophie sat on daddy's lap and was distracted with a bowl of fruit while the girls opened gifts. She was a very good girl.

Check out handsome Mr. Lincoln. He shares a birthday with the twins and just turned ONE on Thursday! Can you even stand those piercing blue eyeballs?

OMG - this was hysterical. The girls received hot pink, wide-brimmed hats (ala Kentucky Derby), new shades, purses and baby strollers... and took turns pushing each other around in their fancy attire. :) Haha!!!

Lincoln is one of the bravest babies I've ever seen. He is afraid of nothing.

All of the little ones had an obsession with trying to drink the water that was shooting up from the water pad. They just kept moving their arms in a scooping motion and licking their hands.

Answer: Yet to be determined, although all of the kiddos seem to be shooting for a Guinness Book record for most watermelon consumption at these parties lately!
