Meet My Niece, Cecilia!

Shortly after 7:30 this morning, my newest niece arrived via C-section to her anxious and happy parents, Kelly and Steve. Cecilia Mae Munoz weighed in at 7#8oz and 20" long. Everything went well and the new family is doing great.

Celia (as they plan to call her - hope I'm spelling that right!) is a really beautiful baby. Almost too perfect for a newborn! She was very alert when we arrived all snuggled up on her momma. It was really fun to hold such a tiny baby again. Now my big girl seems so... well... big!

Craig and I came up to the hospital shortly after our kids went to bed and my mom arrived to sit at the house for us. We brought Cold Stone Coffee Lovers ice cream... what more could a new mom want? LOL
Celia was so sweet and snuggly with perhaps Kelly's chin and nose, but mostly looking like her daddy, Steve.
I'm pretty sure Kelly is relieved for this pregnancy to be over! :) She didn't have the easiest time, but she and the baby are healthy and thriving so God has blessed her. By the way, Kel, you look great for just having a baby!

P.S. Craig was up at the hospital for quite awhile earlier today (without the camera) and held Celia then, so we didn't get any pictures of him with the baby tonight.
The Munoz family.
So sweet. Isn't she beautiful?
Congratulations Steve, Kelly and baby Cecilia!
