Another Edition of Weekend Randoms

The "randoms" posts are just an all over the board mish-mosh of pictures that don't really fit into any specific catergory.

This one's just funny. He's watching a Dora episode, of course, and what better accessory to do that in but a cowboy hat? And there's that trance-like face again. We've actually stopped doing any TV shows in the mornings anymore and much more limited in the evenings. He's really not even asking for them as much.
I love these pj's from Target and she's starting to grow out of them now so I wanted to get a picture of them before it's too late.
One of the things I think make a baby/toddler suddenly appear to look so grown up is when you start to see a lot more of their neck. Ha! Sounds silly, but you know how little babies always seem like they have no neck because their head just sort of sits on their shoulders all the time? And you have to really make an effort to clean in the crevices of their neck. But the older they get, the more they hold their head high. It makes them look taller and just more mature. I remember thinking that about Will around his first birthday too.
I love this expression. It's similar to the one at the restaurant and she makes it a lot. :)
Craig and I were just discussing how we've taken the lazy road for awhile with brushing Will's teeth. We usually just have him sit on a stool while we brush his teeth and he never gets to practice himself or even learn to spit at the sink. So we're trying to make some changes. It takes a little longer this way and he's so not understanding the spitting thing, but it's good practice. We had to change his jammies after all the water he spilled on himself this time..
Meanwhile, Sophie got her very first bath in the big tub! I just thought she might like to move around a little bit more and play with the toys. But it was also a pain trying to get her to sit still to be washed, and she's a climber so it's sort of dangerous too! We'll probably stick with the toddler tub awhile longer.
On Saturday, I attended a wedding shower for Craig's cousin while Craig stayed home with the kids. He and Will assembled the USA puzzle again on Will's bedroom floor.
He's showing me his muscles. :)
When I got back from the shower, it was sunny and mid-40's outside. So the kids and I got out for another walk so daddy could have some peace and quiet for a bit.

This picture bugs me a little because I had my left foot on one of the deck steps and I look like I'm trying to do a red carpet pose. Not the case. LOL
And we're off!
Craig also put up Will's tent for a little while this weekend. Will and Sophie both loved playing in it, though I caught him trying to drag her out by the arm once. We're working on sharing - he doesn't like her to touch his stuff.

I bought one of those suction-cup mats for in the tub when I started putting Logan in the "big boy" bathtub, and I found it helped a lot. That way he doesn't slide around as much, and when he tries to stand up it's not nearly as slippery. They have ones at Babies R Us that you can machine wash!
