My sweet baby girl turned 6 months old Tuesday and I just can't believe it. It's going too fast!

Playing in the Jumparoo

SO CLOSE to crawling! She wants to so badly...

We went to the pediatricians office yesterday for another well check. Sophia is 16# even and 26.5". She's meeting all the development goals: rolling both ways, sitting up briefly, smiling and giggling, babbling a little more, passing toys from one hand to the other, following movements and voices with her eyes, etc. She sleeps from about 7:30pm to about 6:30am and takes 3-4 naps in the day that vary anywhere from 30 mins to 2 hours. She nurses 6x per day and now takes 6oz per bottle for the sitter while I'm at work. And last night we even introduced rice cereal from a spoon and some water from a sippy cup. Her first solid food! She wasn't sure about it - didn't love it... but also didn't loathe it like her brother did the first time. I think she'll be excited to try new things as we work through new foods now.

I think we need some girly bibs, huh?
