Go Moose!

Today was a pretty cool day for Will. Not only did he go see the Comets play their last home football game, he also got to hang out with the starting quarterback before the game! One of the best quarterbacks in Genoa history, Matt ("Moose") Bassitt was nice enough to let us come over and get pictures with him and even try on his jersey and helmet!

Tough like Moose:

Trying on Moose's baseball hat too:

Ready to head to the game! Let's Go!

Will has a teddy bear with a Comets football uniform and the #1 (Matt's number) that he calls his "Moose Bear". He cheered pretty loudly for Moose from the bleachers and loved the excitement from the crowd.

As a side note, Moose ended his regular season career tonight 29-1 as a starter. And Genoa was #1 in the nation in points differential.

We're looking forward to another shot at the state championship this year! Go Comets!
