InstaFriday

Saturday morning at the Farmers Market downtown.  We picked up the last of our garden plants this day:  cherry tomatoes and a few herbs.
Amazing how stinkin' cheap plants are considering the enormity of their output!  Three cherry tomato plants for $1 (we only planted two) and each will produce hundreds of sweet-as-candy tomatoes.  After knowing that, it's almost painful to spend $2-4 on a pint of cherry tomatoes from the grocery store throughout the rest of the year.  And Sophie's holding our basil which is already looking beautiful and smelling fragrant.
At the library, Sophie makes a bee-line for the Disney fairy and princess books and immediately fill her arms.  Shocker.
Triangle pose with an arm tuck variation that further opens the chest and shoulders.
A tangle of a pose that's actually very orderly.  It may have a name, but I don't know it.  Fun to get into though!
Mani/pedi this week with my new beloved Zoya Josie.  A super fun grassy/Kelly green.  The foot picture is a little bit neon-looking and misleading in color but the pic on left is pretty accurate.
I made an amazing (and easy!) dinner tonight from the new Curtis Stone cookbook that I borrowed from the library.  Pesto-glazed chicken with spaghetti.  Parmesan, pine nuts and torn basil leaves on top.  My fam loved it and I will definitely repeat.  My first homemade pesto of the summer.  Gonna' need to stock up on pine nuts as the weather heats up 'cause pesto makes just about every meal better! :)
Baby grasshopper pose - first attempt.  This was a popular one around the IG world recently.  Thought I'd give it a try.
Playing with a little side crow action.
Borrowed this pic from my sister.  A cuter pic of most of our group of kids at Put in Bay.
Golf cart ridin' on Put in Bay!
Capping off our day with some hard serve ice cream.  Strawberry cheesecake for the kids and Muddy's sea salt for mommy.  Yum.
First attempts at Eight Angle Pose.  Not quite ready to look up and give the camera a look that says "I've got this", but it really wasn't bad!
Another headstand variation.
Happy Friday!
