Craig worked both days this weekend (the 28th and 29th), which is rare for him, and I had some of the kids' outgrown fall & winter clothes that I wanted to try to sell at Once Upon a Child. So after breakfast, the kids and I packed up and spent the morning in Perrysburg while waiting for the ladies at OUAC to sort through our two big tubs of clothes and one box of shoes.
We hadn't been back to the 577 Foundation since last fall, so that was our first stop. The day was overcast and comfortable and we had the place nearly to ourselves. So we browsed the many, awesome areas of this place and took the brief River Walk trail down to the water.
After our river walk, we made our way over to the park and ate a picnic lunch before playing on the playground. The kids got to try out the new bento lunch cubes that I picked up for super cheap at Old Navy of all places! I got them exclusively for picnics at the park or zoo or wherever and, despite Will's concentrating face, both kids were thrilled with the novelty of them. ;) I'm planning to write another lunch packing post soon as I gear up for the new school year, so I'll address my thoughts on these new pieces of gear then.
Goofy kids. Will was singing and dancing. :)
Our morning of fun cost us $0 (except for gas money) and we made a little over $200 at OUAC! I'd say that's a morning well spent! :)

This might seem weird, but I love the cobwebs on that welcome sign in the first pic! Haven't been here in a long time, and I THINK we're going to get some family pics done here next month. :)
Oh, and Sophie's outfit is adorable!
