The kids left a shoe outside their bedroom doors on Sunday night in hopes that St. Nicholas would pay us a visit and leave a surprise for them. :)We also requested a couple books from our library that tell the history and explanation of St. Nicholas Day.
Each child received two mini candy canes and a clementine, plus a note from St. Nick to look for a special surprise under the tree as a reward for their good behavior this year.
Since then, Will has been totally into the Melissa & Doug "Shape, Model & Mold" play doh kit.
I'd like to try to make my own play doh that would be a little safer for Sophie to play with, should she accidentally ingest any of it. So hopefully she'll get a chance to play with all these cool tools soon too. Play doh is so fun!
