We've had this set of books for a couple of weeks now. They will be returned this week and then we're going to take a week or two off from borrowing books while we read all the Christmas books that we already own in addition to enjoying the individual books the kids are opening each night in our Christmas countdown. We also still have some Magic Tree House books to read as well.
Jan Brett is always a favorite, but this book in particular was a little creepy with trolls breaking into the house to eat all the prepared Christmas food.
Her illustrated version of The Night Before Christmas was wonderful though and Will requested this often.
I loved this book for its great message about giving to others in need. It's a perfect read before taking Will to pick out hats and gloves for the needy children.
Very comical.
Really cute.
