Craig's aunt & uncle invited me to pick some wild black raspberries on their property this week. There hasn't been a convenient time to go pick at our favorite raspberry farm yet and they don't have any red raspberries this year, so we may just stick with the local, wild stuff here this year. My hands got pretty ripped to shreds and I really should have worn jeans, but the payoff was totally worth it.
I filled a big, empty, ice cream bucket about a third of the way full and that took a little over an hour.
When I got home, I pulled some fresh basil from my garden and made a batch of pesto for our dinner guests that were coming tonight.
Now that's one delicious way to get our antioxidants! Over vanilla ice cream and eaten in front of a movie with the hubs.

I've become a speed demon nail painter on lunch break. ;-) Base coat, two coats of color and dry drops in 15 minutes flat. No smudges. This color is Zoya Anaka.
It's been a light, gauzy scarf-wearing kind of week.
And just tonight: kicking off our dinner party with some pink grapefruit margaritas! Delish!!
