The afternoon of October 8th was the perfect day for an outdoor kids birthday party. With all the rain we've been having, it's a risk to take... but it seems there's always one really hot weekend in early October for the past few years. And this was it! It was in the lower 80's this day, but not uncomfortably hot.
Jagger & Charlize Magnone turned six and four on October 13th and 14th respectively. And we were so excited to come celebrate with them! Their momma, Nichole, hired Hero's (of Rossford) to come out and provide some fun at the party for a couple hours. What a great idea!
This was one of the activities the kids loved:

There was an inflatable bounce house...
...balloon animals...
...and face painting!

This is the girl Will says he will marry. She is adorable, isn't she?
Stella, Mya, Soph and Char having a snack.
Our babysitter, Lisa, is Jason Magnone's aunt (Jagger, Charli & Jax's great aunt) so she came to the party as well and we've just been saying how we never have any pictures with her! Or with her and the kids even though she is basically their second mother! She is awesome. And we wonder every day how she does it with all of our kiddos plus still managing to be the rock that she is for her own family. So today we took some pictures. :)
Jaxson Magnone is two months older than Soph.
This is the best we could do. Inevitably, none of these little stinkers want to cooperate for a picture when we try to get them all together.
Gift time! Both Jagger and Charli did such a nice job thanking all of their guests each time they opened a gift. Charli was very adamant about making eye contact with them as well. Such good manners!

Thanking more guests. :)
Sophie found some Incredible Hulk gloves and I made Casey put them on for a picture. We were a little confused as to why there were two right hands. Haha! :)
Cookie cakes! My favorite! I'd pick a cookie over cake any day of the week. Good choice, guys!

Then, shortly after, this became the entertainment of the moment. Jumping in a puddle of water on the patio. Really, who needs toys when kids can entertain themselves like this?

Love all of the pictures! And the two right handed gloves is because we have two sets ;-) Love that picture of Casey!
