With 19 days to go, Will and I made a paper chain for the Christmas countdown. Will got more practice with scissors and has enjoyed snipping off a link every night before bed.
Last year, in lieu of ornaments, we placed all our Christmas greeting cards on the tree. This year we created a super cute card stand using an upside down tomato cage, some green wrapping paper and miniature binder clips. It's ridiculous how excited I get when a fun project turns out as cute as I'd hoped. ;)
Tonight we made another "project": a message for Santa to sit out with our plate of cookies.
I love using the kids hand and footprints to make little crafty time capsules.
And early next week, we're going to take another festive treat to the sitters to share with the other kids. Nutter Butter Reindeer Cookies!
