Halloweekend, Part 2

We spent all day at home on Halloween.
Here's how I caught Will reading Room on The Broom this day (hehe):
And here are some more Halloween crafts that Will made at our sitter's house that decorated our fridge:
Uncle Taylor stopped by to borrow a pair of Craig's work boots for his costume...
cracks me up... he's Dog the Bounty Hunter! Isn't that hilarious?
In the evening, we had all the little cousins over for snacks and pictures before Trick-or-Treating. The grandparents stopped by too and Taylor & Amanda walked with us.
Here is Sophie's costume - the cutest strawberry in the patch, if you ask me!

And here's Will, the mighty giraffe! He kept asking what he could be "the king of" this year since last year he was "the king of the jungle". LOL And, no, he didn't wear those rain boots when we went Trick-or-Treating. Those just always seem to be his slip-on shoes of choice when he wants to run outside.
Grandpa & Grandma Riedeman brought the kids each a... um... candy cane! Yes, that's right. Will loves them!
I just want to squeeze her!
Testing out Mya & Stella's wagon.
The Munoz family - Steve, Kelly & Cecilia (the bunny).

The Rethman family - Wes, Casey, Mya & Stella (the ladybugs).
Our little munchkins coordinated quite well in their red with black polka dots!
The twins turned 17 months on November 2nd.

Cecilia Mae turned 7 months on Halloween!
Yay! Cora's here with her family! Cora's costume decision was quite the debate. Will wanted her to be a rhino, she wanted to be an astronaut, and in the end... she was a frog! And a super cute one, at that.
Cora is so sweet and loving. You should hear her talk to the littler girls all high-pitch and cutesy. At the ripe old age of almost two and a half, she must feel very grown up next to them. :)
Check out big man Lincoln! At almost five months old, he is cuter than cute and pushing the charts at almost 16#! His mommy feeds him well - that's for sure!
Sophia & Lincoln in Nana's lap.
Hi, Mya!
Little Miss Bunny is wearing Sophie's Halloween outfit from last year. I love to see all of Sophie's past wardrobe on Cecilia.
Sophie & I almost look like a fruit salad! (a la Fruit of the Loom) I could pass for a grape, no? Darn. Should have thought of that... could have been cute!
The kiddies all had some snacks before we hit the road. Will probably consumed more sweets this night than he has all year. Amanda & Taylor (who's watching a game on TV) came over to join the festivities and walk with us.
Getting dressed and ready to head out!

Rats! This picture didn't turn like I wanted it to. Ah, well. You can still see Lincoln's cuteness.
Especially when his daddy tickles him.

Our family
Loaded up in the wagon with blankets, water bottle, basket and book. We're good to go!
And we're off! We had quite a heard walking along.
Molly & Lincoln (the spider).

The neighbors made it soooo easy on us! Most of them were just sitting out in their driveways!
Uncle Dan & Aunt Lori's house.
Casey & Mya.
Brian & Lincoln.
Trick-or-Treat!
Sleepy spider.

Running up to Nana's house... Trick-or-Treat!
Cheese!
Haha. Nana was giving out bananas, apples and Halloween rice krispy treats (to the kids she knew, of course). Good idea, Nana!
Nana & Papa with Sophie & Will.
Sophie's first Halloween treat... a banana from Nana. She didn't get to keep any of her candy, poor girl. She's still too young yet. But she liked just holding and crinkling the packages while she rode along.
After we got back home, I bathed Sophie and put her to bed while Craig straightened the house before giving Will a bath. I heard Craig laugh and call me out to the living room to show me what he found:
Our little stinker had stripped naked and decided this was the best spot to eat his sucker. From this point on, all candy was put out of reach and rationed... and Will got his teeth brushed REALLY well before bath and bedtime.

Ahh. Finally the evening is ours. Kids are in bed, house is clean, and we're ready to relax... and steal some of the kids' candy. ;)

Happy Halloween!

XOXO, Sophie

Our little girl is such a love!
She is just overflowing with kisses and hugs to share with her loved ones!
With Stella...
...and Mya...
...with Aunt Casey...
...and Uncle Dub.
She has SO many for her daddy!
(She's actually trying on last year's snowsuit here.)

Oh, and more for Mya on Halloween! :)
Sophie is more than happy to give and receive some love.
And we are just loving her right back!

International Harvester, Part 2

Okay.
I'm sure by now you know how much Will loves tractors.
Remember his ride this past summer with Bert on the plowing tractor?
Will knows pretty much all the names of the different kinds of tractors and enunciates them very clearly. In fact, just the other day he told me "mommy, I like Minneapolis Moline and Case tractors, but I don't like Massey Ferguson tractors." His Papa would be proud.
Last week, Will got another opportunity to take a ride in a combine. He actually rode along fairly recently with Papa Riedeman, but Craig took him to do that and didn't take any pictures. :( This time was with cousin Bryan and Uncle Jim. He'd been requesting a ride with them for days and he was elated. Jim and Bryan were working in the fields over near my grandparents' house and so my mom took Will over to meet them.

Thanks, guys!!!
As I've said before, I think Will would be perfectly happy making his living either as a farmer or a veterinarian one day. :)
