The only thing I remember about the menu for December 10-16 {week 2}... was that it included our favorite homemade tomato soup and grilled cheese for at least 2-3 days. Craig requested tomato soup and I immediately made it... cause I'm a nice wife like that. :) (Remember my corn dog attempt?)
I like my tomato soup kinda' chunky and really savory with lots of herbs.
I know there were a couple Christmas parties in there as well as our zoo night (which was really more of just a snack and trail mix sort of night), but I would imagine we probably did breakfast or some other easy go-to meal that week. There has been a lot of oatmeal in the crock pot for easy morning breakfasts lately. I've basically adopted my mom's crock pot for this recipe because mine's too big and hot. So we share custody of hers and I keep it at my house frequently during the week.
The week of December 17-23 {week 3} involved a baby shower, another Christmas party, a floor picnic/movie night (pictures later) and a dinner out at a pizza joint for Craig's out of town family members. On the menu this week were:
Many Makings' Mediterranean Chicken Skewers with Feta Dipping Sauce. Still one of the best things I've ever eaten!

Family Fun's Sweet Autumn Chicken

Glad you love the chicken skewers! And I have to try that crockpot oatmeal. It sounds so good in this chilly weather! :)
