If you think that looks big, get this: the baby is only approximately half it's birth weight at this point. They typically double in size in these final weeks! So get ready for a growth spurt. My weight, however, actually plateaued again the last 2 weeks, increasing only about 3/4# since 30 weeks and totalling just under 22#. I know I mentioned before that this seems to be my pattern - fluctuating 1/2 - 3# each week. Whatever. I feel like a bottomless pit with eating right now. I can't get enough. That will probably change soon as Sophia completely fills up any available space for large meals in my belly.
I'm feeling pretty good. More tired recently. Still trying to keep up with Will. Craig's off skiing this weekend and I can't believe how much harder it is to handle a day alone with Will now this far in my pregnancy. He's a little machine that never stops going and never stops making messes! But we're managing just fine. Today, stupid me, decided to wash and iron all of our bedding that doesn't get done regularly like the bed skirt, duvet cover and big pillow shams. So that required me to lift and move our king size mattress in order to get the bed skirt off and on. Ouch. But at least it's done. I also did all the rest of the laundry and Will and I ran a bunch of errands early this morning. So we've had a productive day.
Oh, I forgot to mention that I got a new vehicle! My lease is up on my car next weekend and so last weekend I purchased a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I love it! Much more space, lots of features, very affordable since it's used, and a really comfortable ride. I'll try to post pictures soon - haven't taken any yet.
