"Take Me Out to the Ball Game"

We'll save the peanuts and crackerjacks for when he's a little older. But Will got to experience his first baseball game last night. My dad had a client appreciation event at 5/3 Field with "catered ballpark food" and socializing in the picnic area behind center field.

Last summer, Papa bought Will a Nike baseball mit for fun. So we brought that along last night. Someone handed us a Mud Hens baseball right when we walked through the gates and Will gleefully carried that around saying "ball" all night long.

Will got a picture with Muddy and Uncle Taylor. Not sure what to think about the big yellow bird.

Grandma bought him a hat to match daddy's, a mini wooden baseball bat, and a little Muddy doll.

Playing peek-a-boo with his hat. In the 2nd picture, you can see the new molar that has made him so uncomfortable over the last week and a half.

Checking out Renegade, the police horse. The policeman came over and let Will pet Renegade's nose. Then he gave us Renegade's "card" with a picture and his name.

It was a late evening for Will and he conked out on the way home. But he woke up when I was changing him so I gave him a quick bath because he needed it, and then he was out like a light again.
